To cut poverty in half by 2014 means massive local economic development. The Local Government Business Network, in partnership with the Department of Public works, VODACOM BUSINESS and The national development agency are hosting a summit to look at this issue. This Municipal Local Economic Development Summit 2009 is talking place on the 20th and 21st of July.
