In 2004 assets under administration in the Retirement Industry topped the R1 Trillion mark. Owing to good market performances, these assets have increased considerably. There have also been many changes in the industry. In view of this, the programme New Retirement Thinking will focus on the new thinking around retirement, financial planning, pension funds, employee benefits and the national culture of saving.
