Summit TV

MORE ABOUT US?

Since launching in March 1999, Summit has become compulsory viewing for the country's business leaders and decision-makers. Summit is broadcast on Channel 412 on DStv and is available to around 3.5 million viewers in 9 countries across Southern Africa.

The African Business Channel

Summit – and its stablemates Business Day and Financial Mail – are owned by SA’s leading financial publisher BDFM. This in turn is jointly held by UK group Pearson plc (publishers of the Financial Times), and one of SA’s largest media houses, Avusa. One of Summit's strengths is its access to content from this extensive network.

Segments in each hour are The News (6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm), the Market Report (7.10pm 8.10pm, 9.10pm 10.10pm), Company News (7.15m 8.15pm etc) and Face to Face (7.20pm, 8.20pm) and so on).

The African Business Channel

Summit has a strong investor focus, and is highly rated for programmes such as Stock Watch (nightly at 7.30pm), Summit Investor, You and Your Money and the Roffey Review.

Summit also broadcasts a number of weekly specialist programmes dealing with topics like: management, entrepreneurship, leadership, health, retirement, business and the law, and technology.
