Since launching in March 1999, Summit has become compulsory viewing for the country's business leaders and decision-makers. Summit is broadcast on Channel 412 on DStv and is available to around 3.5 million viewers in 9 countries across Southern Africa.
Summit – and its stablemates Business Day and Financial Mail – are owned by SA’s leading financial publisher BDFM. This in turn is jointly held by UK group Pearson plc (publishers of the Financial Times), and one of SA’s largest media houses, Avusa. One of Summit's strengths is its access to content from this extensive network.
